A large cannabis farm worth about £500,000 has been found at a home in a leafy street in Sutton Coldfield.

West Midlands Police mentioned officers have been alerted ‘suspicious behaviour’ at a detached home in Middleton Road, Streetly, just prior to 9am on Tuesday, April 16.

They found 450 cannabis plants at the address, which have been seized.

A police presence was mentioned to be at the address on each Tuesday and Wednesday.

A resident in the road, who asked not to be named, mentioned on Wednesday: “The police have been at the home all day yesterday and have been there currently, attempting to clear it.
