CBD Isn’t So Spooky

There are a number of common misbeliefs and misconceptions about CBD, what it does, and how it works. Our goal is to both educate and provide people with quality hemp that is free of THC, chemicals, and toxic substances. We are committed to quality, transparency and affordability. This month, our goal was to reintroduce ourselves, relay our vision, and hopefully educate our customers on why Mountain Pure CBD is essential for quality living. Here are a few misconceptions about CBD:

CBD doesn’t work because it didn’t work for me.”

Not all CBD is created equal. Lab tests and results have revealed that many of the CBD-labeled products sold on the internet actually have little or no CBD in them. When buying or selling CBD in your store, research the company, the ingredients, and verify their lab results. If you’re in a grocery store and find “quality” CBD at an extremely low price and it seems “too good to be true,” the chances are it isn’t pure CBD (Trust your instincts!).

We, at Mountain Pure CBD, are happy to have clear, honest labels. You can even view our lab results by visiting https://mountainpurecbd.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/Labresults.pdf.

CBD gets you high.”

While CBD is often confused with marijuana, it is still a very different plant (but, from the same family!). Our cannabinoids are Industrial Hemp derived, as is allowed by the Federal Farming Bill.

Unlike marijuana, Hemp contains extremely low (less than .3%) THC (the compound in marijuana that is psychoactive) and is naturally high in CBD. Marijuana, however, is high in THC and lower in CBD

Good news: Our CBD contains 0% THC and will not get you high – ever.

CBD is illegal.”

While it’s no longer legal to buy edibles, inhalation or beverage products with CBD, it’s important to know that CBD, in other methods, ARE legal. We sell legal, locally made, 0% THC CBD products. We’d love to talk more with you! Our team is passionate about education, so whether it’s a question about what CBD you should use, CBD laws, or CBD routines, feel free to contact us for more information!
